I’m Darren, also known as Skipper D — an adventure sailor exploring lake, coastal, and ocean waters. After nearly three decades in the IT industry, I discovered a new passion for sailing and the freedom that comes with traveling by wind and seamanship.

I’m certified through the American Sailing Association and continue to build skills through clinics and advanced training with Lanier Sailing Academy and Myrtle Beach Sailing School.

Looking ahead, I plan to combine sailing with amateur radio through island activations with IOTA (Islands on the Air) and U.S. Islands, and aspire to join coastal rallies like the Florida 120 and Texas 200.
